Why Kids Physio Scotland?

Kids Physio Scotland was founded by Dawn Houston, a parent and Highly Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist.

Dawn is able to draw from her extensive training and clinical experience to build a reassuringly specialist service to allow families easy access to suitably qualified Paediatric Physiotherapists. This is a service which can supplement a child’s NHS provision or for early access devoid of waiting times.   Families can self-refer and we deliver our services to meet the needs of the young person and family; whether this is at home, in clinic, nursery or educational settings.

Kids Physio Scotland will provide your child with expert assessment and treatment based on their individual needs.  We guarantee that all our associate Chartered Paediatric Physiotherapists have at least five years of post-graduate experience working in this specialist field, and are registered through the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists (APCP).

After SDR my Twins required intense, regular physio, therefore getting the right person was so important to us and that was why I choose Dawn. Kids Physio always turns the hard work into fun.Without Dawn the kids would not have achieved so much.

Isobel Finlayson

I truly believe without your assistance with Kirsten she would not be getting this wonderful opportunity, being selected for the Team GB U18s Winter Team. I can't thank you enough for all your hard work and determination with her. (Back and knee pain)

Jill Roan, Lochwinoch

Thank you for referring us to a spinal surgeon at Glasgow’s Royal Hospital for Children, you really went the extra mile to ensure our son had the best care and follow up. Indeed our son felt a difference immediately and actually looks forward to his Physio review.

David Scullion, GlasgowIdiopatic Scoliosis

Anne has a lovely gentle manner which allows her to continually push my son to his physical limits. While doing so she reassures him and encourages him to participate. Because of her regular input he is in much better shape than many of his friends and Anne continually strives to keep up to date, and introduce new and better techniques.
